Responsibilities

Key accountabilities  

  • Writes (co-creating with clients) high-quality briefs that accurately capture the healthcare problem at a range of tactical and strategic levels  
  • Owns responses to client briefs including RFPs, suggesting different specialists across the healthcare communications team to involve in responding to client challenges 
  • Effectively briefs and onboards teams to collaborate to address client problems and build exceptional solutions across all aspects of healthcare communications  
  • Partners with client to curate existing relevant insights 
  • Suggests and briefs additional insight gathering opportunities to fully understand the problem and inform clear recommendations  
  • Generates and extracts meaningful insights from qualitative and quantitative data, and presents to client with clear recommendations 
  • Defines clear programme objectives and strategic imperatives, ensuring the approach ladders up to Lucid’s vision of transforming lives and the visions of our client organisations 
  • Is an expert and role model in Lucid methodologies, applying in appropriate situations 
  • Leads the collaborative design process for meaningful solutions, applying digital and traditional tactics within multi-/omni-channel programme planning 
  • Advocates digital marketing best practices including design thinking, UX/UI design, SEO, content design, data-led design 
  • Plans effective use of channels such as email, social media, paid media, website and virtual meetings 
  • Leads the structure of effective content design (including video, visual, written, meeting and workshop content) with the user and format in mind  
  • Translates the strategy/tactics to identify appropriate metrics that measure tactical effectiveness and ladder to strategic impact 
  • Partners with analysts to identify trends and insights in metrics collected, driving programme pivots where required 
  • Contributes to new methodology ideation and development 
  • Inspires teams to think in new and interesting ways 
  • Role models consultative partnerships through demonstration of subject matter expertise 
  • Demonstrates individual and collective responsibility through respectful partnerships across teams representing ~£2–3M of client revenue 

Qualifications

Essential skills  

  • Able to integrate capabilities across healthcare communications in a bespoke way to create a seamless solution to address a client need
  • Able to think strategically and problem solve
  • Able to work independently and proactively 
  • Able to understand and apply big- and small-picture thinking where appropriate
  • Soft influence skills and ability to collaborate with wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to prioritise and multitask, plugging gaps where necessary 
  • Core computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desireable skills  

  • Considerable communications and/or pharmaceutical industry experience, including experience of healthcare communications, either working within an agency or in-house
  • Digitally literate, understanding concepts and processes relevant to healthcare communications 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and breakouts for workshops 
  • Working understanding of the regulatory environment of the pharmaceutical industry including the ABPI Code of Practice

During our interview process you will typically have a first stage Teams call with the manager for the role that focuses on your experience, getting to know each other and understanding what you are looking for with your next career move.

 

Our final stage includes an interview, either virtually or in-person, where you will meet with a couple more individuals from across our teams, plus complete a task ahead of meeting with the team that is related to the role you have applied for e.g. a case study, or a writing exercise.

 

We then hope to get back to you with an outcome within a few days of your interview! The Talent Acquisition team are on hand throughout your whole interview process for any questions that may arise.
